A UV LED (ultraviolet light emitting diode) is an electronic light source with electromagnetic radiation which emits light when the electric current flows through it. It has a wavelength shorter than that of visible light, but longer than x-rays. UV LED Lamps are widely used as a standard source of light in electrical equipment. They can also be used for drying inks, coatings, adhesives, and other UV sensitive materials through polymerization.
